SELANGOR SUPER SAVERS 2025 CAMPAIGN

Tourism Selangor’s Visit Selangor Year (VSY) 2025 campaign, “Surprising Selangor” got a boost from the Malaysian Association of Hotels, Selangor Chapter (MAHSEL) and the Malaysian Association of Hotel Owners (MAHO) through the Selangor Super Savers 2025 (SSS2025) campaign recently.

Officiated by YBrs Puan Chua Yee Ling, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Selangor at Dorsett Grand Subang, the SSS2025 campaign aims to showcase the best of Selangor while enhancing the working relationship among hotels, shopping malls, theme park operators and tourist attractions in the state.


Also present at the launch were Tuan Haji Shaharuddin M Saaid - Executive Director, Malaysian Association of Hotel Owners; Datin Jasmine Abdullah Heng - Chairman of the Malaysian Association of Hotels, Selangor Chapter; B C Ong - Council Member Rep for Selangor / Central Region of the Malaysian Association of Hotel Owners; Mr CK Ang – President of Malaysian Association of Theme Parks & Family Attractions and Mr William Tang - Vice President 1 of the Malaysia Shopping Malls Association.


With the launch of SSS2025, both MAHSEL and MAHO hope to support Tourism Selangor in achieving its target of 8 million tourists by this year end.

A dedicated online portal, https://selangorsupersavers.com/ was also unveiled. Highlights include stay packages offering a minimum of 10% off Best Available Rates, RM50 F & B credit and late check out till 3 pm as well as up to 10% off meeting and wedding packages by 21participating hotels in Selangor: Le Meridien Putrajaya, Marriott Putrajaya, Moxy Putrajaya, Four Points by Sheraton Puchong, Crystal Crown Hotel Harbour View Port Klang, Pegasus Hotel, Dorsett Grand Subang, Mines Beach Resort, Royale Chulan Damansara, M World Hotel and Acappella Suite Hotel among others.

Visitors staying in any of the participating hotels can enjoy extra perks and discounts at theme parks and shopping malls such as GL Play by Gamuda Land, Jungle Gym Eco-Sanctuary Mall, Jungle Gym i-City, Jungle Gym Quayside Mall, Just Farm, Wet World Shah Alam and Sunway Pyramid. 

On phase 2 of the SSS2025, MAHSEL and MAHO hope more industry players in Selangor will support the campaign until end of 2025 as a precursor to Visit Malaysia Year 2026, targetting 26.1 million tourist arrivals and a domestic spending of RM97.6 billion.

A photography and short video contest - Experience Selangor is currently open and submission should be uploaded by/on 30th April 2025. SMURFS AND BEAR IT THIS CHRISTMAS AT DORSETT

Do good and be nice this festive season - support Dorsett and Silka Hotels’ Christmas corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign by buying original The Smurfs plush toys from Belgium or a Dorsett Bear Knapsack Kit.

Supported by Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) and Tectic Toys, proceeds from the festive CSR initiative will benefit Kiwanis Club of Bukit Kiara (KCBK), Children’s Wish Society and Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-kanak Cacat Klang.

Guest of honour, YB Puan Tiew Way Keng (centre), Assemblyman of Teratai officiated the campaign launch with Datin Jasmine Abdullah Heng (left), Vice Chairman of Dorsett Hospitality International and Ms Christina Toh, Area General Manager of Dorsett Grand Subang and Silka Hotels. Also present were Loke Kah Peng (below pix, far left), President of KCBK and Imran Khan, CEO of Tectic Toys (Deltas International Sdn Bhd).
Papa Smurfs and Smurfette mascots from MAPS caused much excitement among the 20  children invited from Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Home of Peace when the duo appeared during the launch ceremony and dinner. Later, the young guests were treated to a buffet spread and fun activities. They also presented with monetary token, a Dorsett Bear Knapsack, a mini Tectic Toys set and memento from MAPS.

Besides the beautifully decorated 12-feet high Christmas tree in the Dorsett Grand Subang lobby, hotel guests will discover a nice photo spot at the festive fireplace built from 38,000 pieces of Tectic Toys building and interlocking components.
 
Donors are encouraged to buy any of the 5 The Smurfs toys or the limited edition Dorsett Teddy Knapsack Kit consisting of a Dorsett Bear, a colouring kit and book, and a pair of kid’s bedroom slippers at RM100 nett each. The campaign will end on 2 January 2018.

TOYS FOR TOTS DRIVE BY JW MARRIOTT KL





Here's your chance to be a Secret Santa to underprivileged children from six welfare homes: Sidhartan Home, Trinity Home, Nur Qaseh, Angels’ Home, Rumah Ozanam and Shelter Home in the Klang Valley.

You together with hotel guests and members of the public can help to fulfill the wishes of 168 children from the welfare homes by visiting the towering Christmas tree at the Hotel Lobby and helping to support the campaign. All gifts will be distributed to the children after December 31.
